Getting dressed on your wedding day.

Posted on

If you haven`t paid already for a specialist to help you into your wedding dress and help the others too, then I think it is a good idea to allocate that side of things to one of your bridesmaids or another member of your family. The last thing you want to worry about is struggling with the choice of who is going to be lacing up your dress for example. It is a good idea to decide who is going to do this well in advance and they can come with you at your final dress rehearsal. If your dress has a lot of lacing to do or has many buttons to fix, ask your wedding dress supplier to show you or your maid of honour how to do this and actually time it when you have your last  fitting.

This will help calm you down on the wedding day. And on the day if the lacing is not going as intended you will still have confidence in the fact that one of your bridesmaids will have seen how it is actually done. If you are moving bags on the wedding morning to go to the venue where you will be getting ready, have your important bits to take with you allocated to someone else to and to make sure that they dont forget, have a check list of all your stuff with you and cross check before you leave. It is easy to forget delicate things like jewellery etc.
